School Features
●"Restaurant Classes" and "Confectionery Store Classes" where customers also visit.
The restaurant classroom in the culinary area is designed to provide an integrated line from food inspection to cooking and service. Students will be able to devise their own menus and serve them to customers in a "restaurant management style training".
In the confectionery store classroom in the confectionery area, students make their own original sweets and breads and serve them to customers. Students learn how to work in a patisserie or bakery by observing face-to-face with customers as they are being made.
●Students learn a wide range of skills through cooperation with the university and local farmers.
In collaboration with local farmers, we are planning a program that enables students to learn firsthand about the real situation and issues of agriculture through fieldwork such as farming experience, and classes that challenge students to create menus that draw out the appeal of local farm products.
In addition, we are considering offering a workshop on nutrition education for the future of society as a collaborative program with Tokyo Gakugei University.
●Spending campus life with students of Tokyo Gakugei University.
Students of TGU are also able to use the Tokyo Gakugei University's facilities, such as the university library and co-op, which are located on the university's spacious campus.
In addition, we are considering various plans to deepen mutual exchanges with each other, including exchanges with TGU club groups and international students, and seminars that students can take together with university students.
Exchanges such as lab activities and public seminars have already begun.
