School Features
In addition to training specialists in beauty services such as therapists, beauty advisors, and instructors, the university offers learning opportunities that broaden students' future career possibilities, including roles in product planning and business strategy.
Centered on the study of beauty and health, students take an integrated approach to learning across seven fields: Beauty, Nutrition & Exercise, Medicine, Basic Sciences, Psychology, Arts, and Management.
In contemporary society, people's perspectives on lifestyle and health are changing, making it essential to provide beauty and health services that respond to diverse values. As we enter the era of the 100-year lifespan, attention to healthy life expectancy has increased, and more people place importance on how to live a healthy life throughout their years. In addition, the relationship between beauty and health has evolved, with beauty increasingly viewed as something built upon health, rather than as a separate concept.
As values surrounding beauty and health continue to diversify, the beauty and wellness industry is expected to expand further. In response to these increasingly diverse beauty and wellness needs, the university aims to cultivate professionals who can create new value and deliver new services, as well as future leaders who will support businesses and management in the industry.

For International Students
Professional University of Beauty & Wellness enrolls international students from various countries and regions, including China, Malaysia, and Tajikistan. Students study alongside Japanese classmates, experiencing campus life while engaging with diverse values and perspectives.
One of the university's key strengths is its curriculum, which places a strong emphasis on corporate internships. Through partnerships with companies and facilities in the beauty, health, and wellness fields, students are provided with many opportunities to learn in real-world settings while still enrolled. By applying classroom knowledge through hands-on training, students develop the professional expertise, work ethic, and communication skills required in Japan's beauty and service industries.
In addition, internships are incorporated in stages, allowing students to naturally become familiar with technical terminology and industry-specific expressions in Japanese through practical experience. This learning environment enables international students to gain valuable work experience, making it ideal for those aiming to seek employment in Japan or pursue an international career in the future.
Eligibility for international student applicants generally requires Japanese language proficiency equivalent to a score of 200 on the EJU (Japanese) or JLPT N2 level. Submission of test results is not mandatory. We welcome students who wish to study specialized fields in Japanese and acquire practical skills that will support their future careers through corporate internships.
