"Washoku," which was added to UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list. Would you like to learn "food" which has grown with four seasons and various rich nature at Tokyo Culinary and Confectionary Arts Academy?
International students can work for 5 years in Japan when you get Designated Activities Visa (Japanese Cuisine Overseas Promotion Human Resources Development Program). Our school will support international students to be active around the world in cooperation with various companies.

●Tokyo Culinary and Confectionary Arts Academy established "Department of International Culinary Business" (1year) only for international students in 2018.

・Learn Japanese cuisine, Western cuisine, Chinese cuisine, cafe, BAR, and restaurant service
・Japanese lesson
・Specialized sushi course
・Get an eligibility requirements for examination of certification of cooking skills for Japanese Cuisine in Foreign Countries (bronze) (on graduation)

Curriculum Features

You will master the basic of Japanese, Western and Chinese cuisine in cooking classes and get high skills in the class of Japanese cuisine and sushi. You will learn Japanese ingridients, food culture and management for entrepreneur in lectures.
Japanese lesson is offered in the Department of International Culinary Business only for international students to improve Japanese skills. You will get the qualification of candidacy for examination of Certification of Cooking Skills for Japanese Cuisine (Bronze) on graduation. If you want to study more, you can enter another department.
