In today's increasingly complex society, connections between people are becoming increasingly tenuous, resulting in a 'lack of connection' in schools, businesses, communities and even within families. This weakening of connections is creating social fragility and deepening social inequality. The four fields of the School of Contemporary Sociology at Chukyo University aim to restore these severed 'connections' and create a new, connected and supportive society in which people can live vibrantly.
