The department trains students to design, maintain, operate, manage, and supervise electrical facilities for large buildings such as airports, buildings, and amusement facilities, as well as transportation infrastructure such as railroads. All faculty members in this department, which is accredited by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as chief electrical engineers, are certified as chief electrical engineers or electrical contractors. We nurture human resources who can play an active role in the electrical industry after graduation through classes that are aligned with practical work in the electrical industry.

Job needs in the electrical industry, which is indispensable for daily life, are always stable. Most of our students are employed by major companies and associations with our full employment support.

【Point 2】
Students have an advantage in acquiring the "Chief Electricity Engineer" certification from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

In addition to obtaining the "Second- and Third-Class Chief Electricity Engineer", a national qualification with an extremely difficult pass rate of around 10%, without taking any examinations*, it is also possible to obtain the "Second- Class Electrician" qualification simply by passing the practical skills examinations. After graduation, students must have at least five years of work experience for Type 2, and at least two years for Type 3, before they can apply to obtain the certification without taking an exam.

Learn about renewable energies such as solar power generation, which will become popular in the future.

Students will learn about solar power generation and other power generation technologies, large-scale battery technology, and "energy management" that efficiently manages the power grid through the use of IT.
