For International Students

Tsuji Culinary Institute Tokyo has signed a partnership agreement with Tokyo Gakugei University. As the campus is located next to the university, students can participate in joint programs with university students and access facilities such as the university library and co-op, fostering greater interaction. Additionally, the school is located in Koganei City, an area known for its active agricultural community. Through fieldwork opportunities such as agricultural experiences, the program aims to develop individuals who can address social issues through the power of food.

School Features

● “Restaurant-Classrooms” and “Confectionery Shop-Classrooms” Open to Guests
The restaurant-classrooms in the culinary area are designed with an integrated workflow—from ingredient inspection to cooking and service. Students create their own menus and engage in hands-on training modeled on real restaurant operations, serving meals directly to customers.
In the confectionery shop-classrooms, students produce original sweets and breads and offer them to customers. Guests can observe the production process firsthand, providing students with real-world experience similar to working in a pâtisserie or bakery.

● Broaden Your Learning Through Partnerships with Universities and Local Farmers
Collaborations with local farmers offer programs that include agricultural fieldwork, allowing students to experience and understand the realities and challenges of farming. Classes also include projects where students develop menus to highlight the appeal of local produce.
Additionally, in partnership with Tokyo Gakugei University, workshops are offered to explore food education for the future of society.

● Campus Life Shared with Tokyo Gakugei University Students
Students at Tsuji Culinary Institute Tokyo have access to facilities at Tokyo Gakugei University’s spacious campus, including the university library and co-op.
They also have opportunities to interact with university students through club activities, events for international students, and joint seminars.
