School Features
◇Priority admission for Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG) and The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) KJLTC's students are given priority to enter Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG), or The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) after graduating from KJLTC. Students who enter KCG or KCGI after graduating from KJLTC can be eligible to apply for the tuition fee reduction for foreign students.
◇"Propaedeutic course" of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
The KJLTC’s programs are authorized as a “propaedeutic course” by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Even if students do not meet the requirement of a 12-year term of studies in primary and secondary education in their home countries, they can be eligible to apply to a higher education institution in Japan after completing our programs.
◇Use computers freely
Every student has their own ID and password and can access computers freely during their free time.
◇KCG’s professional classes are available
Students who have sufficient Japanese proficiency can attend the computer professional classes of KCG’s regular course. The credits obtained in the class is recognized in KCG’s regular course after entering KCG. This system enables students to acquire cutting-edge IT skills as well as Japanese language skills.
KJLTC is a "propaedeutic course" recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
Lots of international students study Japanese at KJLTC and enter one of the KCG group schools.

Curriculum Features
◇Japanese
●The training of Japanese language proficiency is necessary Japanese higher education and preparation for JLPT N1 or N2.
●Classes are divided depending on students’ Japanese levels.
●Classes are held more than 20 hours a week. (20 weeks for 1 semester, 40 weeks for a year)
●Subjects include grammar, vocabulary, listening, conversation, reading, composition, and Japanese society and culture.
◇Subjects for JLPT and EJU
●Classes are divided depending on students’ Japanese level.
●Preparing for taking the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) and Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) through past exams papers or other materials.
◇Basic subject
●Improve abilities other than Japanese language and acquire knowledge for studying in higher education institutions.
●English, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), General Subjects (History, Geography, Civics), and IT Basics (Computer) are included.

For International Students
KJLTC is a Japanese language institute which is under the main organization named Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG), established in 1963 as the first private computer institute in Japan. Our school is a Japanese language institute recognized by the Minister of Justice and provides the high-level course designated as a "propaedeutic course" by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Our programs are designed to prepare for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Grade-N1 or N2, and Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) for foreigners who want to enter Japanese higher educational institutions. KJLTC’s students are given priority to enter Kyoto Computer Gakuin (KCG), or The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) after graduating from KJLTC and can acquire cutting-edge IT skills there.
